Being a shonen protagonist is an absolute nightmare, and Oryn has had enough. Tired of the endless cycle of mobsters, monsters, and world-ending mayhem, Oryn’s only dream is to live a completely unexceptional, boring life. Unfortunately, the narrative has other plans, and his primary antagonist—the volatile and annoying Zef—is determined to keep their rivalry alive at all costs. Realizing he can't escape the "action" through traditional means, Oryn decides to take a more radical approach: he's going to change his story's genre entirely. If he can't be a hero in an action comic, maybe he can be a lead in a romance instead. This meta-comedic series follows Oryn’s hilarious and often disastrous attempts to force a genre-shift while dealing with a villain who might be more "love interest" material than he realized.
